About the role

HDR's Industrial sector works with clients across the full project life cycle — from planning studies and front-end engineering through design and construction monitoring. This role sits at the intersection of senior technical leadership and business development, with a focus on industrial water process engineering. You'll lead client development efforts, serve as a subject matter expert on strategic pursuits, and own the front-end process engineering scope on complex projects.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field
10+ years of process engineering experience, with at least 5 years in project management
Demonstrated ability to lead front-end project phases, including business case studies and design basis memoranda
Experience collaborating with business development and project delivery teams on pursuit positioning and scope development
Comfortable mentoring staff on both technical topics and consulting best practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling tools, and project management software
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work across multidisciplinary design teams
