About the role

AECOM's West Region Water Business Line is looking for a senior practice leader to anchor its dams and hydropower work across Colorado, the Mountain region, and the Four Corners area. You'll split your time between technical leadership on major dam and reservoir projects and the client-facing, business development work that keeps the pipeline healthy. It's a role for someone who wants both a seat at the table on complex infrastructure and real influence over how a practice grows.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in engineering plus 10+ years of relevant experience; an MS or PhD in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering is preferred
15+ years of dams and hydropower technical and leadership experience
5+ years leading projects, client accounts, or business development initiatives
Deep familiarity with dams and hydropower markets, clients, and trends in the western US
Active participation in USSD, ASDSO, or similar industry organizations — a recognized name in the field
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate across geographies and business lines
