About the role

AECOM's Buildings + Places global business line is looking for a Capture Management Director to lead enterprise-level pursuits from first discovery through final submission. You'll own the win strategy — coordinating technical, marketing, and bidding teams across regions — and serve as the consultative sales leader on the firm's most complex, high-value opportunities. This is a senior role with real influence over how AECOM positions itself in key growth markets including aviation, defense, transit, and high-tech/data centers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience, including time at a Director or Vice President level
At least 4 years leading business development strategy and teams
Proven track record winning major pursuits and delivering measurable sales metrics
Strong command of the full pursuit lifecycle: Go/No-Go discipline, proposal quality, competitive positioning, and commercial/contract fundamentals
Experience in a global matrix organization is a strong plus
Sector knowledge across aviation, defense, transit, or data centers is advantageous
High energy, self-directed, and comfortable building trust with both executive stakeholders and client decision-makers
