About the role

BW Design Group's Architecture + Engineering + Construction practice delivers large-scale capital programs for some of the world's leading life sciences manufacturers. As Director of Client Development, you'll own the full commercial arc — from pursuit strategy and executive-level client relationships through bookings, pricing, and delivery accountability — for design-build and EPC programs in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and advanced therapy manufacturing environments. This is a growth leadership role measured by secured bookings and long-term account profitability, not billable hours.

What we're looking for

15+ years leading and delivering capital programs ($100M+) for manufacturing clients in a design-build, EPC, or integrated A/E/C environment, with direct responsibility for securing work, pricing, and delivery execution
Deep knowledge of life sciences manufacturing operations: cGMP production, cleanroom classifications, clean utilities (WFI, PW, clean steam), validation readiness, and CQV/ORAT processes
Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary delivery teams with authority over scope, cost, schedule, and margin
Experience navigating FDA/EMA-regulated environments and quality-driven project delivery
Executive-level communication skills; comfortable influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders
BS or MS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field; PE preferred, MBA and/or PMP a plus
Willingness to travel for client engagement, site visits, and industry events
