Stantec's water practice works with communities across North America to design, improve, and protect drinking water systems — and this sector leader role sits at the top of that effort. You'll own the strategic direction of the water treatment practice: building a community of practice, shaping technical capabilities, and connecting subject matter experts to the pursuits and projects that matter most. It's a rare opportunity to lead at a national scale while staying close to the technical work.

What we're looking for

20 years of experience leading technical delivery for complex water treatment projects
Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering (or related field); master's or PhD preferred
Professional engineering licensure, or willingness to obtain within one year of hire
Demonstrated industry visibility — active participation in organizations like AWWA, ACE, or WQTC
Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategy, lead distributed teams, and build client relationships at a senior level
Comfort with significant travel across North America and internationally
Located anywhere in the US or Canada
