About the role

HNTB's Architecture practice is looking for a senior leader to own terminal planning on some of the country's largest and most complex airport projects. As Project Director, you'll carry full accountability for mega-projects with annual revenue exceeding $3M — managing scope, budget, schedule, client relationships, and the people doing the work. This is a high-visibility role at a firm with a century-long track record on landmark infrastructure.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field with at least 15 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, large-scale aviation or terminal planning projects from pursuit through delivery
Strong client management skills — you're comfortable serving as the primary point of contact on high-stakes engagements
Experience estimating fees, scoping work, and preparing proposals and contracts
Ability to mentor and manage project managers and broader project teams
20+ years of experience, a Master's degree, and an RA license are preferred
