About the role

STACK Infrastructure builds, owns, and operates wholesale, colocation, and cloud data centers across the country. As Sr. Director, Preconstruction, you'll own portfolio-level preconstruction strategy — budgets, schedules, delivery methods, and risk — while partnering directly with Development, Design, Finance, and Commercial teams to turn tenant requirements into executable, capital-efficient projects. It's a seat at the table for someone who wants to shape how a fast-growing data center platform brings projects to life.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or associate's degree in construction, business, or a technical discipline — or equivalent experience
10+ years in preconstruction, with significant data center experience
Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously through preconstruction phases
Strong command of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and industry-standard estimating and scheduling software
Ability to translate tenant technical requirements into pricing inputs and project strategies
Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and participating in tenant-facing commercial discussions
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20–30% at times)
