About the role

HDR's Industrial sector is looking for an experienced LNG Business Development Lead to own the growth and delivery of its LNG Service Line. You'll set the business strategy, build and manage client relationships across gas utilities, developers, midstream companies, and major oil and gas firms, and provide technical oversight on project delivery — all while working alongside area and sector leadership to hit annual and long-term goals. This is a senior, high-visibility role with real ownership over a growing practice.

What we're looking for

15+ years of relevant industry experience; minimum 10 years in LNG project management
Deep knowledge of the LNG market, including small- and midscale LNG, and how LNG facilities operate, are maintained, and upgraded
Established relationships with clients who own, operate, or develop LNG facilities
Demonstrated track record winning high-value A/E/C contracts and developing effective pursuit strategies
Strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and experience managing program budgets
Ability to recruit and build a team with LNG engineering backgrounds
PMP certification preferred; prior staff supervision experience a plus
Valid driver's license; willingness to travel up to 30%
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
