About the role

HDR's Building Engineering Services Group is looking for a Healthcare Engineering Principal to anchor their Denver-based integrated architecture/engineering practice. You'll serve as the senior technical voice on complex, multi-disciplinary healthcare projects — setting the standard of practice, building client relationships, and growing a regional health engineering team. This is a principal-level leadership role with real influence over how HDR's health practice develops across the Central Region.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's preferred
PE license required (Colorado or reciprocal)
15+ years of related experience, including at least 7 years in project management
Proven track record leading large, complex healthcare projects
Experience as a mechanical or electrical discipline lead at an engineering or full-service AE firm
Demonstrated business development success in the health design market
Strong client presentation and team leadership skills
Familiarity with sustainable design and LEED a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
