About the role

Turner Construction's Aviation Market Segment Group is looking for a senior preconstruction leader to own and drive preconstruction across multiple large-scale aviation projects nationwide. You'll lead estimating, scheduling, risk evaluation, and GMP development while building the client and trade-partner relationships that keep work coming in. This is a full-time traveling role — expect to be on the road 70–80% of the time at project sites across the country.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, plus at least 18 years of relevant experience (or equivalent)
Deep knowledge of construction cost, estimating, scheduling, purchasing, and engineering principles
Prior aviation project experience strongly preferred
Proven ability to develop client relationships, identify opportunities, and help close work
Executive-level presentation and negotiation skills — you can read a room and tailor your message accordingly
Experience managing preconstruction teams across regions, including hiring, coaching, and performance development
Familiarity with BIM, lean construction methods, and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
