About the role

GFT's Transportation Business Group is looking for a senior growth leader to own business development across the Central and West regions. You'll drive client relationships, lead strategic pursuits, and expand GFT's footprint with state DOTs, transit agencies, airport authorities, and municipalities. This is a market-facing leadership role with real influence over regional strategy and a seat at the table on major infrastructure pursuits.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Planning, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's preferred
15+ years of experience in the transportation, infrastructure, or AEC industry
Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and strategic growth
Experience working with DOTs, transit agencies, airport authorities, and similar transportation clients
Demonstrated success leading complex pursuit and capture efforts
Strong understanding of transportation funding programs, infrastructure planning, and market trends
Established network of transportation industry contacts and teaming partners
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
Professional license and active involvement in ACEC, APWA, WTS, APTA, or similar organizations preferred
