About the role

Black & Veatch's Industrial Water team delivers lifecycle water, wastewater, and stormwater projects for heavy commercial and industrial clients — think data centers, manufacturers, and other large-scale users who need reliable water solutions on time and on budget. As Project Director, you'll own both the business development and project execution sides of the equation: building client relationships, leading proposals, and overseeing engineering managers to keep projects performing. It's a senior leadership seat with real accountability and real impact.

What we're looking for

20+ years of water/wastewater experience with demonstrated leadership in the industrial sector
Professional Engineering (PE) license and a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
Proven track record in business development — prospect identification, proposal preparation, client presentations, and contract negotiation
Comfort managing project financials: budgeting, invoicing, performance reviews
Experience mentoring and developing technical professionals
