About the role

HDR's Power Delivery group is looking for an Area Transmission Business Class Leader to anchor technical excellence across their Denver-area transmission practice. You'll own staff development, quality processes, and technical delivery while carrying a 70–75% utilization target on active projects. It's a senior leadership seat with both hands-on engineering responsibility and a direct line to HDR's Global Transmission Business Class Lead.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field
10+ years of experience in transmission design and delivery
Active professional engineering registration required
Subject-matter expertise across a range of transmission design concepts, standards, and software
Proven experience mentoring staff and coordinating workshare across multiple offices
Comfortable leading proposals, technical reviews, and Go/No-Go decisions
Familiarity with regional clients, stakeholders, and industry standards committees is a plus
