About the role

Turner Construction's Sports Market Segment Group is looking for a senior preconstruction leader to own MEP preconstruction across multiple large-scale sports and entertainment projects. You'll lead estimating, risk evaluation, and GMP development while managing a team of Preconstruction Managers and collaborating closely with operations, business development, and national resource groups like Turner Engineering Group and VDC. This is a high-visibility role with real influence over how Turner pursues and delivers some of the most complex projects in the country.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, plus at least 18 years of relevant experience (or equivalent)
Deep knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles
Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development pursuits
Extensive regional market knowledge and experience managing preconstruction across multiple regions
Strong negotiation skills and executive-level presentation ability
Experience leading and mentoring preconstruction teams, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management
Familiarity with BIM, lean construction methods, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), and Target Value Design
Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
