About the role
EIS's Downstream team manages a portfolio of environmental assessment, remediation, and monitoring projects across Colorado — working closely with CDLE-OPS and CDPHE. As Senior Project Manager, you'll own the full project lifecycle from site assessment through remediation and long-term monitoring, serve as the final technical reviewer on reports and budgets, and lead a team of project managers and junior staff. It's a role for someone who's equally comfortable in the regulatory weeds and in a mentorship conversation.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of CDLE-OPS requirements and Colorado environmental regulations (CDPHE)
- Proven experience managing environmental projects through assessment, remediation design, and monitoring phases
- Track record of supervising and developing project managers and junior technical staff
- Ability to manage client relationships and communicate project status, risks, and resolutions clearly
- Experience preparing proposals and cost estimates
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; OSHA 40-hour and CPR/First Aid also preferred
- Comfort with occasional field work; steel-toed footwear and standard PPE required
